What are Courses?
Unmind Courses are programs designed to help develop your understanding of key mental health topics and your wellbeing. These are broken down into small chunks that require a maximum of 10 minutes out of your day.
You can get a good idea of how long a Course will take to complete on its overview page (accessible by clicking on the Course name).
The number of sessions gives you an indication of how many days you will spend learning, but depending on the course it may take you longer to complete. This is because many of our Courses encourage you to take time out between days to put what you've learnt into practice.
Where do I start? 👶
Our content is organised into 6 categories to help give you an idea of what you want to focus on. If you're not sure where to start, we'd recommend our Foundations.
Alternatively, you can complete a Wellbeing Questionnaire, the results of which will guide you to the courses that are most relevant to your wellbeing.
How does it work? 🤔
At the beginning and end of each course, we'll ask you a set of questions to help you monitor your progression as you work through the Courses.
Once you've completed the first initial questionnaire, you will be greeted by a wealth of video and audio content as well as in-the-moment exercises to help you understand the particular topic of the course you're working through.
At the end of each course, we will ask you the same set of questions presented at the start of the course. These are designed to measure your understanding and application of the topics presented in the course, and allow you to see the change it has had on you.
You can view your progress throughout and upon completion of a course. To view your progress while you are working on a course, click the PROGRESS tab. Here, you will be able to review your learnings and re-visit previous segments of the course.
To navigate between the sessions, swipe right or left to move forward and back into the course content.
Once you've completed a course, you can go to the REVIEW tab from the course's overview page to view how your overall understanding has changed.
For each question, you'll see how you answered before and after the course, with the coloured circles representing where you put yourself on the scale.
What are Collections?
Collections are bite-sized and easy to access nano content designed to fit into your life at a time that is convenient to you. They are comprised of serialised, digestible pieces of content, designed to be worked through in a sequence to provide structure to your interactions with Unmind.
Where can you find Collections?
Collections live on the ‘featured’ and ‘new releases’ carousels within the Explore page and are only available on mobile (for now).
How do I find a Collection I haven't completed yet?
To find Collections you are currently working on, go to Explore and open Your Courses & Collections. Here, you will be able to view all your in progress courses and collections. If you click on a collection that is currently in progress, you will be able to see which episodes you have watched and how many you have left to complete the Collection.
What if you were in the middle of a course?
If your course has been migrated over to the Collections format, then any previous progress won't have been saved. We're sorry your progress won't be saved, but your course will still be there in the new Collection format!
